lyrics

Drink up with me, here’s to hoping we’re right. We tear the limbs from a memory that’s fallen behind. And gather them up,
reattach and reconstruct 'til the pieces fit. Do they fit? Are the stitches holding it, together tonight? This table is cold, and it can hardly hold the weight of all. We’re renewed. Young skin to old bone, helps to keep the past from spilling out of it.
Let’s give this thing a heart, push the blood and the fingers start to twitch. Eyes alight. I think it’s coming to life. And now that it’s opened up this feeling inside. Ordinary minds are gonna make new life tonight. Sick of dotting faded i’s, tired of wandering those insufferable streets, these new battles defeat old wars. It has it’s heart, it’s got the strength. It’s moving towards us now and I can’t wait for it.
